Question 91 TII Hazard lights won't shut off

Hey guys I'm having a problem where the hazard lights will not shut off. It started when I let a buddy of mine drive the car and he used the turn signal then for some reason it turned on my hazard lights and now it turn off. I removed the fuse after trying to press the signal lights and hazard lights on and off. I'm gonna look into the wiring diagrams sometime on the weekend, but I wanted to see if somebody has any input or had problems with this before.

I had the same problem in my 88 vert.

My switch was bad, which is a 400 dollar replacement from mazdatrix I think.

13B ETC sells rebuilt ones (the whole wiper/flasher switch cluster and gives core refunds. He is on this forum, but I just got mine from him through ebay.

140-160 dollars, plus 30-60 back for the core. It's a great deal in my opinion because if you just buy a used one from a junkyard, it will most likely have or develope the same or different problems.

They have a lifetime warranty too.

see previous post. I don't know what exact switch you would need, but it will be in that search.

Oh yeah, it will start again. I used to just drive without the fuse and not use my turn signals since I have hardly any city driving in my commute.
