I can go from 2nd ti 3rd withiut a grind but if I try to downshift from 4th or 5th to 3rd it will grind.
But I can come from 4th to 2nd not letting off clutch and go to 3rd and theres no grind...
What could this be?

learn to rev match to see if the problem is a little more bearable. but yea, tranny is old, rebuild or buy another

 

similler problem with mine I just heal toe down shift to match my trans and engine speed. I also have to double clutch 1st to 2nd above 4k rpm. saving for a junk yard trans to rebuild so I don't have any down time on Trix as she is my DD.

 

could try out some of the nicer brands of trans fluids
but it is probably a dead trans. Just find another one, the 6 port trans is everywhere and cost honestly close to the same as redline trans fluid LOL.
