91 fc speaker problems

Was wondering if anyone has ever had problems with their door speakers? I just put three way speakers in and for some reason it sounds like the tweeters aren't working. There's barely any vocals at all. The previous owner cut the factory harness and put the wires back together however I don't have a manual to check the wiring. Either eay just looking to see if anyone has any knowledge they are willing to share

The wiring for the radio is In the FAQ. Check to see if the factory amplifier for the speaker is still wired as i've only seen them work with factory head units, and an extreme rare occasion of an aftermarket radio. To solve my problem I bypassed the amp and wired straight from radio to speaker.

Well if the amp is bypassed you are getting squat as power to the speakers.

You should consider an aftermarket deck and wire the speakers directly to the deck.OR toss them through an aftermarket amp setup.

I have an aftermarket head unit, right now I only have the door speakers wired up. I have an amp for the door speakers just haven't wired it up yet. This is more of a temporary setup until I get my daily driver back on the road.
