MD 9 sec. rotary's

i am a newbie to rotary motors ,...a friend of mine told me that at the local track in Md. there is a group of guys who race nothing but rotarys and these guys are going 8's and 9's in the quarter..i was also told for about 3G i could have one built ..Does that sound feasivble....of course i know one would need a good drivetrain to sustain the power..thanks

9's.....well better tripple that dollar amount just for the engine alone, not to mencion the other parts needed to make a car that fast and not break every pass.

lol..not poking fun at you since your a newb... But I'm gonna say HELL NO that's not possible. Turbo kits are $3G's already, ECU?, Downpipe, Midpipe, Exhaust, built engines, intercooler, the list goes on and on

Um, add a 0 to the end of your 3 and you'll be a bit closer. And no group of rotary cars in Md running that fast. Don't know of any at all in the 8's.....yet
