'88 RX7 won't start
Hello all,
I pull out of the driveway and move to the other parking spot, next day the car cranks but won't start. The clock reset itself so I wonder "battery?". Battery tested fine at Autozone. I've ohmed the main fuses ie pulled them out and checked them with a meter. I can't get the main 80amp fuse to come out of the fuse box to check it but it doesn't look blown. I *think* the main relay is mounted on the driver side fender near the brake reservoir. How do I check it? Put my hand on it while someone turns on the ignition and feel for a click? My next steps will be to check all the fuses. Then pull a plug and check for spark, then fuel delivery to the fuel injection.
Am I on the right track here?
I've read I should check compression first but I don't see how the engine could be munched. The car's had Mobile One since 60,000 miles, now has 130,000. Runs (ran) like new, yada yada...
Many thanks

A couple things.
1. The 80A main fuse is bolted in, it is bolted on the sides of the fuse if I remember correctly. Both sides.
2. When you move your car from spot to spot, you should allow the car to fully warm up to prevent flooding.
3. If your car is flooded, as if its cranking but feels like zero compression, then you need to do the deflood procedure. The easy way is to unplug the CAS (Crank Angle Sensor) or the EGI fuse and crank the engine for a good amount of time.

I found the bolts, thanks.
The car was flooded. I replaced the plugs, they were nasty. I pulled the EGI, cranked for a while, let it sit, replaced fuse and it started.
Many thanks for your help.
