This is my daily driver and I can't drive it my 88 rx7 na will start, but I won't stay on more than 5 seconds. It did this before, and I read the forms and fixed my loose intake system. Well now, I thought it might be my MAF sensor, so I replaced it with a new one and still no luck. Does anyone know what may be causing this?
Also, the guy I bought it from messed with the screw that adjusts the throttle a few days ago, and since it broke I've been messing with it too to see if it has anything to do with my problem. Absolutely any feedback it greatly appreciated.

Jumper the fuel check connector and try again to start the car.

My son's car was having the same problem. The gas gauge was reading empty so we put a couple of gallons of gas in it. Still had the problem. Checked a number of things. We ended up putting about 4 or 5 gallons of gas in it and it started running. The only thing I can figure is that the fuel system needed to be bled? Never had that experience with any other vehicle.

Got word from my mazda roatery mechanic that I have a bad rotor. it's my daily driver I'm 18 and I'm now screwed I've gotta just come up with a way to buy a new one. Haven't even had it a month. Thank you for the replies anyway
