So I am not very familiar with the rx7, my brother had a 94 twin turbo, thats all I know, very very fast car...


however, so Im driving a 85 nissan Maxima V6 special edition, 230k miles.


I have an offer, someone wnats to trade me there 88 rx7 5speed convertable, for my nissan,

he says there is no cat which isnt a big deal, I can fix that...
but what do you guys think? I need some good advice, I dont want to get stuck with a car Im gonna hve to put thousnds of dollars in..

Im familiar with the problems Ive heard come with the rx7, oveerheating, engine failure, but is this really all true? says theres like 160k miles on the rx7, it is Naturally aspirated aswell, just so unsure, any advice would help, maybe if you can give me your experience with this year and model of the rx7, that would be great..
