'88 project...got some questions
i am a college student and this summer i am putting a twin turbo in my 88 convertible in my auto shop class. i have the twin turbo set up out of a 93 but the car is still lacking such parts such as an inter-cooler, BOV, oil feed and return lines and so on.
I have an ecu out of a 93 not sure how or if i can hook it up. can i put that in my 88 if if yes how any info will help. i am working with a small budget so they will not be top line parts. any information on what i might need, any mods that need to be made and some insight on the ecu would be appreciated!

You basically have 2 problems:
1 You are trying to put a turbocharging system from a 13b rew to an NA 13b
2 You are operating on a shoestring budget.
Putting aside my opinion that this is a bad idea, there is the fact that you would have an easier and cheaper time doing an 13b rew powertrain swap than just swapping the turbos (and in my opinion the whole powertrain swap is... still a bad idea). Your best bet is to do an S4 turbo engine/ powertrain swap, and then if you feel you need to have more power than you can possibly handle, modify it from there. Still not convinced? Read this:

Then realize that what you are proposing is even more difficult, convoluted, and expensive.

Oh boy, gotta see this...
I just never considered a custom fabricated exhaust manifold, downpipe, intercooler, standalone EMS, and upgraded fuel system components as "cheap". Have fun
