CA 88 fc diff question?

I have seen many posts about the n/a lsd being a 7" gear and the tII lsd being an 8" gear, but my real question is, what can the housing handle. I plan to either purchase a kaaz or other, but I want to know what the housing itself will withstand before cracking?

Might be a stupid question, but I just do not want to leave out anything while planning my build for the winter.

I don't think I've ever heard of either housing breaking.

thank you. That is the answer I was looking for.

What about the ring and pinion?

I just want to eliminate any really weak links before I find out the hard way. If the diff is a problem, I can just build my own rear sub frame to fit another diff.
Thank you for you help.
