87 N/A Rx7 starter not working

When I try starting my car it just makes a "brrrrrr" noise and won't even crank. I've replaced the brushes but that's it.

The brushes only not used to engage the starter..The Solenoid is.
Bench test the Starter.
12volts directly to the starter.If it doesn't kick,..then your solenoid is shot.

Also check your connections.You would not believe how a corroded connection will effect starting on these cars.

Thank you. Cleaning the corrosion fixed it weirdly enough haha.

If only I could get "something " to take the rust off ME!..heh,heh..!
For some reason I am rough starting in the morning and seem to Backfire a lot!..I think it's the Eggs!
