Ok, so I've searched, lurked, googled and fiddled, but alas: My passenger door is stuck closed.

I've managed to get it to open again, but upon locking the door one day it was back to plain old non-functional. I'm a little irritated, but I figure there must be someone smarter than me with some insight as to how I should fix this.

Any advice will me much appreciated.

 

Sounds like the door lock rod inside the door may have come unhooked or something is broken in there causing it to not unlock. Only way to check it though is to take the door panel off which you need the door open to get it off. Good luck and keep us updated.

 

There is a little spring on the latch assembly. It has broken. I forget where the spring is as it's been a while since I looked.

You should be able to get the inner door panel open a bit and unlatch the door from the inside. Then replace the latch assembly.
