87 Clutch pedal Vibration

Hi all,
New the my 87 N/a. Picked it up for 800. I have a few issues with it though. Ill start with this one and go from there.
When I place my foot on the clutch at idle, I feel a vibration. When I push it in, in goes away. Operation while driving is fine, no slipping, grinding, perfectly normail. Is this normal operation? I usually always own manual cars and have not felt this before. The owner said the clutch was replaced last year, less than 10K miles ago, so its not a real old clutch.
Ill just start with this post as I don't want 15 different problems all in 1 post, unless you think I should post what I got.
Thanks for any help you may have.

it's ok to list all ur problems in one post. now as for this problem, it's probably the release bearing.

Ok so assuming the transmission fluid has been neglected and caused poor lubrication would a flush and replace, help to any degree? Along the lines of prolonging the bearing from complete destruction?

Other things I wanted to post was a surging on cold startup. It will start fine and quickly, revs to 1500-2000 for a minute or 2, then will surge up and down between 2K and 800 or so. Just until its warm, once warm idle is perfect.

Thirdly where can I get front control links lol. Not 1 parts store in these neck of the woods can get any.

Currently just did rear struts, coolant change, plugs, wires, air filter (there somehow was a plastic grocery bag on top of filter, dunno how that go there though). Going to clean all grounds, transmission fluid change, what else should I do as far as maintenance?
Thanks again all from the newb.

The thowout bearing is external to the transmission.

Fix your vacuum leaks, and then adjust the TPS.

the clutch release(throwout bearing) should have been changed during clutch replacement. but after further thought, it may also be the fingers on the pressure plate causing this problem. maybe the PO only replaced the disk. pull the tranny and examine all related parts.

Front control link is the link that connects the front stabalizer bar to the lower arm. If you look at the service manual under suspension, (section 13-9 the control link in #5) or is it called something other than what the manual is calling it?

I have had a chattery throwout bearing and alway heard noise, the clutch doesn't seem to be making noise, just the vibration.

Very helpful advice, thank you. Ill go through the vacuum lines and replace them all.
You don't think that the surging could be the bac (idle air) valve would you?

i have the same idle surging problem except mine will only do it like 4-5 times then stall out lol. tapping the gas makes the idle sit at a constant 1500ish which then slowly drops as it warms up.
