PR '85 Wiring Fun

Alright so the smart guy I bought my first gen from wasn't actually a smart guy and he butchered the wiring on my car. So basically he put this massive battery and closed the hood briding the positive and negative and fried a couple of wires under the hood. My question in all of this is the wiring for the headlight motors got fried and some how the fuel pump did too so i was wondering if I could just rewire this myself or if it would be wiser to cut the harness from a local junkyard? Also I got a holley racing fuel pump with the regulator, and I know that I can adapt it because I've seen it done and I've done it with in-tank pumps but never and external. So anybody whose done it if you could offer some help id appreciate it, thanks in advance.

Ok that was super easy but Im having a problem now with my carb I've opened it up and cleaned it 3 times but since I don't have an air filter it keeps getting dirty I was trying to search but didn't really find much... Is there any aftermarket filters that fit the factory carb?
