I was driving down the road and my car started stalling like it was running out of fuel. I went ahead and replaced the fuel filter and the fuel pump since it was the stock pump.( the car only has 70,000 original mile) I figured that was probably the problem. The fuel filter was full of some sort of rust and pretty beat up. After that the car ran good for a few weeks and with no problems.
Well I took a 90 minutes drive the other day and when I got to the place I heard this loud noise coming from underneath the car. It was the new fuel pump making a loud noise and the car wouldn't start. The noise kept going even after I took the key out of the ignition switch. I left the car alone for an hour and when I came back the car started and drove fine to come back home. Still kind of stalling a bit not to much for the car to die on me.
Any body has had this problem or know what can it be?

Trash in the gas tank maybe or rust scales plugged the fuel pump and fuel filter and even some got to the injectors..
