Hi everyone, new to the Mazda scene...and I'm about to buy a 1985 rx7 GSL with 12k miles on it. It looks and drives like a new car. Is there anything I should be worried about or look out for? Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

welcome to the board.
i would imagine it will really come down to your plans for the car. are you planning to actually drive the car, or are you planning to continue storing it?
if you're storing it, try to get a feel from the seller what type of schedule he used to bring the car through the last 35 years to now, and simply follow that regimen. if the car is as mint as you say it is, then i can't think of anything that would jump out as an issue if it's not being used. as long as it is garaged and kept somehwat from extremes in temperatures for extended periods of time, then all should continue being good.
if you plan to drive it, then i would suggest going through the entire car, starting with the things that might be safety issues - tires, brakes, etc. next would be the things that keep the engine happy and healthy - so belts, hoses, fuel lines, etc. - since, even if it is visually looking good, rubber has a tendency to degrade over time.
if you end up getting it, definitely posts some photos and document your time with it.
