85' GS carburetor issues

I have a 12A stock carburetor it is sucking too much air. I try to adjust it and all its doing its rising the RPM's. So my toughts is to change the carburetor for a holley or webber but to do that i'm going to need a intake, you see I bouht this car with a 13B 6 port w/2nd stage clutch high preformance fuel pump, RB headers and 1 mean eingen cooling fan, and a webber .48 w/ intake. the thing is the 13B needs to be rebuilt it blew a seal. so I decided to install the the original eingen wish is the 12A I had to installed a fuel regulator because of the fuel pump. So what do u recomend? have in mind that the eingen and around the eingen also. if I could I would send u a picture of how it is right now!

You're trying to use a fuel injection pump for a Nikki carb? I'm not sure if anyone makes a fuel pressure regulator that is capable of reducing the pressure that much. The Nikki only needs about 3 psi to run.

no, see the 85' GS that I have had a 13B built for DRAG and it blow a seal so I swap eingen 12A wish is the original but the pump is still the racing pump and it is not fuel injected is regular carb even the 13B

Well, I'm a little biased, but I would suggest that you at least take a look at Sterling carbs. They mount to the stock intake, so that cuts your cost in half right there. I've been using one for a long time, and its simply awesome.
