probably just a bad or fouled sensor on the recovery bottle. Ijust disconnected mine, but I open the hood every day to check the vitals before my 1 hour drive to work. if the level is staying steady and no heating issues, just a bad sensor.

The coolant level sensor is in the middle on top of the radiator. It has a pigtail that connects to a wire running to the left side of the engine compartment. Sometimes the connector gets loose or corroded. If that's the case, clean and reconnect it. Recently on mine, the top of the sensor broke off. It still held pressure, but i was left with a metal post sticking out of the sensor. I just plugged the connecting wire into it. It didn't interfere with the hood. That worked until I replaced the sensor. I needed a new radiator, anyway so I didn't bother taking the old sensor out. Hope that helps.

Ok so I purchased a radiator (Aluminum replacement) without a spot for the sensor. How I get it to shut off the light without the sensor? Unplug the bulb?
