84 n/a electrical malfeasance.

I have an 84 GSL. Blue, if it matters.

About two months ago, my RX7 died while I was driving. it appears to have been a more extreme version of a problem I had been having for some weeks prior where I'd lose power on start up if the ignition was feeling loose that day. since then, some accessories wil work, but not all. all that can be heard starting wise is a bit of a click. I have replaced the starter twice in the last 18 months, one a few months before this happened, and I am certain in my heart of hearts that isn't the issue. I had spare keys tried them, that didn't work either.

I would like to bypass the key entirely and install switches. I don't need to make it pretty. I am modding the absolute crap out of it it next year, and at this time I mostly just want to not get in the way of future me. I really just need to make it go to the place where I am going to work on it more seriously, because the daily driver I bought two days after this happened needs it's parking space.

What sort of switches will I need? I've been told that they must tolerate 30 amps, and if I am smart I'll put a fuse on each one. Aside from that, I am a little clueless about exactly what my options are and Google isn't really helping make things more clear. Can I go with a 1 three-option toggle, or do I have to run like 2 or 3 off/on switches?

I am planning on still using the key for the steering wheel lock for now.

is there anything else I need to think of that I am currently not? Assume I am a giant newbie, because I am.
