84 GSL-SE Fuel Sender
Last year I replaced the fuel level sending unit in the tank - the old one was visibly kaput and frozen, but now the replacement (genuine Mazda) is fluctuating between 0 and 1/2 but mostly stays at 0. Checked electrically and it seems to ohm OK. Any ideas?

When I pulled the sender out and checked it, it showed 112 ohms empty and progressed up to 225 ohms full - just the opposite of what it should be 110 - 3 ohms. It's been in the tank only a year.
