84 GSL electrical help!!!

I'm new to the forum... These forums weren't around years ago when I had my several FB's. Anyway 15+ years later I just picked up a 84gsl for some reason it has no map lights... Stereo does nothing (power antenna does work when power is turned on/off) and 15a hazard fuse blows as soon as I put it in... Turn signals work and hear the relay but when I click that hazards on relay stops and silence???? I understand the relay is integrated in to cpu??? If so would this effect the stereo and interior lights? I'd appreciate any input... thanks

I'd start by getting that fuse to stop blowing and see how that affects everything you are having problems with.

Download a wiring diagram and look at all of the end loads, in other words components, that are being run off of that 15a hazard circuit. Check each component's resistance readings to the extent you can get the info. If you can't get the info unhook all the connectors for the end loads on that circuit and see if the fuse still blows. It probably won't and if so you can hook them up one at a time at see which makes it blow. It is likely that one component is pulling too much current or there is a short in the wiring going one of the components
