hey guys i just recently bought an '81 RX-7 and there seems to be no power going to the HVAC unit or the radio. I haven't had a chance to check to see if this is all controlled by one fuse or not,and probably won't get to till the weekend so just looking for some quick help with that haha.

 

checked the fuses,the one for the radio and heater controls/AC are good,but the one for my cig lighter and clock was blown,so itried replacing it and it just blew automaticaly.Soi've gotten no further with any of it.

 

im having similar problems with my 86. but my interior lights and radio dont work. i know on a wiring schematic they are tied together so i have to play with it a little bit...but you should check the schematic to see if the systems are tied together

 

wow...thank you haha,i'm an idiot i just relized my dome light isn't working either,and the radio in the car is an aftermarket tape deck......so yeah thanks a lot i'm going to pick up a haynes manual and see what the wiring looks like.
