81 GSL needs AF screw, where to find?
Does anyone have any suggestions where I can find an idle a/f adjust screw? Dealer can't get it anymore and I've called to dozens of wrecking yards with no luck. Even looked through ebay and other generic internet searches. Still no joy.
I picked up an 81 GSL a week ago. It's running way rich at idle and 2k and not passing emissions. I got a carb rebuild kit and rebuilt the carb and in the process found that the idle a/f screw was bent. I was able to heat it up and bend it back, but in the process I mucked up the threads a bit. Can't find a die anywhere in town with this fine a thread pitch for it (looks like an M6-0.7 or 0.75). So, I'm trying to find a replacement screw and not having much luck.
The car starts, but still seems to run very rich even with the a/f screwed in as far as I can get it; however, I think it's stopping due to the messed up threads, not the fully closed position cause the engine doesn't stumble at all. I'm still at 3x the allowed amount for emissions too. So there must be more for me to lean this out, just need a new screw and have come up empty in locating one.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Well, I was able to file down the head of the AF screw and use a socket to get it all the way in. This must have cleaned up the threads cause now I can use a screw driver to adjust it. Seems much better now.
Just got the radiator swapped out too as it was old, rusted, and had a slight leak at the top after working on the carb (think I leaned on it). The new radiator looks nice and I'm thinking of going with dual 12" e-fans to avoid the noise of the manual fan.
