I'm new to the rotary world. I was wondering how much a 4 rotor actually would cost to build?

about 15K and UP...Easily.

more like $40k and up unless you have the machinery to build it yourself, in which case you wouldn't have even asked.

my target price is about $15k for a short block, with a less sophisticated design compared to what most others have built. if it even works reliably that's about the cheapest one could be contracted to be built for.

there is still some 23a engines floating around out there, which could probably be picked up for a little less that are used.

 

a user here is selling a 12a based 23a, if you can afford it i believe he is asking $8k shipped for his engine.
