2nd turbo loosing pressure.

I have a 94 rx7. 100k on the motor, everything is stock except for a muffler and turbo timer. What I'm wondering is if it is ok to keep driving my car until the weekend to have a better look at things (I don't have much time during the week). I think it's just a hose issue but it's hard to tell without taking things apart for a better look.

boost patter goes 10-8-7,6,5,3,... and just drops off. Will I be doing damage to the turbo or anything else if I keep driving it until the weekend. Even with shifting around 3000rpm?

Sounds like a problem with the "turbo control actuator" or the associated solenoid and vac lines. Or the secondary turbo itself.

You should be fine limping the car around, but do it as little as possible.

I'm having a similar problem, in 2nd gear the boost pattern is 10-8-4…. but then after a second or two it builds back up to 10psi. 3rd and 4th gear boost 10-8-10 as normal.

2nd turbo doesnt spool until approx. 4k rpm if im not mistaken so if you keep your foot out of it you should be fine until you find your problem.

It pre-spools at 3k rpm.
