Question 2nd Gen Lazy eye... WA.

90' Rx72nd gen. Sometimes when I turn the headlights on, one will stay down and not activate. Like a lazy eye. Then for no reason it pops up!
What can cause this? Where do I look? What should I check for?
Who makes a a Great Repair manual for the 2nd. Gen?

I would honestly suggest going to like a 240 forum or an MR2 forum. Has the car always done this? My MR2 did when I first got it and I found it was because the way the previous owner had rewired it. He had a wire running up to both but stopped at the left first and then went to the right so my left would pop up first and then the right. This may not be the same problem you are having but I hope it may help you.

the headlights have an internal relay system that can stick.
Also the linkage can bind up as the bushings are plastic and can crack and hinder movement.

Thank yoiu for your reply. Where in the car is the 'internal relay system' located?
Are the 'linkage bushings' available?

Where can I learn more about repairing or replacing the H/L linkage and , the headlights 'internal relay system'?

Is there a good repair manual available for the 2nd Ge. ?
