Hi I'm new to the forum but been in Wankelland since age 16 and was looking for some advice. Soon i will be in the position to either, buy a FC and make it a 20B or buy a AE86 Toyota and make it a 20B. in the fabrication part i have no problems and wiring I can probably figure it out. But if any have a schematic it will be greatly appreciated. and any parts list to make it better or easier. Or a step by step on the Swap for either car that would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

 

There is no parts list, and there is no wiring schematic. Every install is 100% custom.

 

Well if some one that has done it before. The parts they used and are working on the swap. For example, fuel pump, what worked for them, rear end, parts that came from other vehicles that I could use for reference or maybe use the same part. So that it becomes more economic since i wouldn't have to experiment and break a lot of stuff trying to figure out something that some one already figured out

 

papi, if you r going to insatall a 20b u need a stand alone computer, haltech sport 2000 or the cheaper microtech lt16, thats what your going to need to install a 20 b in nay of the cars. its just less headaches, you could get motor mounts to install the b20b on the fc from a few companies just use the search, for the corrolla custom built mounts. cuando lo montes pon retratos.

 

definitively going to make a journal of it. either way with the fc or the AE86. on the steps i take and the parts i buy and fabricate. doing the whole documentary. not sure if i will post it or just keep it for reference for future projects. or for some one like myself that could use the help and thanks for the advice on the computer. I was already checking out the wiering harness from a cosmos since I'm planning on getting the full front clip. or at least engine with computer.
