1993 RX7 won't start
Hey,
I'm pretty new to the rotary world, although I have done my homework on them, such as, the general maintenance and "do's and don'ts" for the rotary. I.E. immediately killing the engine after driving or quick startup and shutoffs.
I bought my 93' RX7 TT about 2 weeks ago and have had no minor or major issues until now.
I can successfully tow start the car but nothing happens when i turn the ignition. There is no infamous clicking sound i hear about mainly leading to a dead battery or bad starter. There is no noise at all, just no start. I don't kill it immediately after driving it. I usually give the car about 3 min after regular driving and about 5-7min after a hard drive. Although it does get rather hot here in SC so i tend to open the hood to maximize cooldown time.
I'm just very unsure of the underlying issue I'm having. I have yet to find a thread that is of assistance to my specific problem. Can anyone diagnose this problem for me?

The car is toast, get rid of it,I have a perfectly running gsl-se I will trade you even though yours is broke. Ha! If it powers on with the key, but no clicking might be a bad solenoid or starter itself, it can be few things. If your not familiar with the ignition system best to get someone who is, they can narrow down within a matter of minutes.

I agree it is probably the starter or solenoid, but it could also be ignition switch. You can find the FSM in the newby section and I believe it has a diagnostic section
