This car has 1600cc injectors as well as a hi flow cat and a downpipe. The downpipe does have an exhaust leak. The car has a oil leak and I am wondering if it could be an oil leak on or near the turbo because the turbo smokes at idle and at 3000 rpm. I am wondering what the easiest way to tell if the smoke is from the turbo or if it just because one of the gaskets is bad. The attached video is showing it idling, I also am wondering if the idling sounds off at all because it is running very rich currently.

That sounds like an ignition issue with it idling like that. As far as the smoke, I have no clue.

 

Yeah it might be a mix of both ignition and maybe a vacuum line somewhere. (An MSD or Twin Power will help.)

One thing that might also be an issue is maybe the mapping on the PFC is wrong for what injectors are installed. Make sure that the PFC is set for your injectors.

 

How do I change the injector settings on the PFC? Also I got the car road legal recently and have been driving it, it has no problems above 1000 rpm but anything below 1000 and it sounds like it is about to stall/shake itself apart.
