FL 1988 RX-7 rear seats

How can I remove the back seats on my 1988 RX-7? I assumed they were like my 3000GT VR4 but I can tug and pull, they just don't seem to want to pop out. Any idea how I can remove them? Thanks in advance.

Remove the seat bottom first. At the front there are 2 clips, you need to push the front edge of the seat down and pull out slightly to disengage, one at a time At the rear of the bottom, there are 2 wire loops. Iirc, each has a bolt to remove. After that, the rest should be obvious. You will need to remove the metal strip across the top of the seat back that holds the hatch carpet.
