I currently don’t have the car down here I am trying to figure it out from here it is my understanding that when fuel is put in the carb it will run and as soon as that fuel is gone it stalls I’m thinking fuel delivery issue but I don’t know much on this vehicle

Fuel pump running? Have you checked flow at carb? Bad fuel pump or maybe fuel cut relay.

youd be right about it being a fuel delivery issue. it runs so, its not air or spark. that leaves carb, pump, electrical, dare i say gas in the tank.

welcome to the board.

definitely sounds like a fuel issue. as KansasCityREPU said, check for fuel at the carb. the simplest thing would be a blocked line (kink or cruddy filter), the worst case would be a dead pump.

the post above me also mentioned a great point with the gasoline itself. has the car been sitting for an extended period of time? if so, then things get really involved as you'd probably be best served to drain and drop the tank to clean it and change the strainer/sock.

well, you may find these helpful:

https://www.aaroncake.net/rx-7/unstore.htm

at the very least, you will want to drain the old gas and try to clean inside it as best you can before putting new gas in and trying to run the engine. there's a filter inside that you probably would want/need to check.

if you want to go all out with it, then you can look at this video:

there's no access port on the FB unibody, so either way, the tank will have to come out.
