1983 1.3L oil leak from timer area
Hi. I have an oil leak that appears to come from the timer cover and leaks onto the exhaust manifold. I'm having trouble finding what gasket, seal, etc. I'll need before starting work. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Irbyjr

There is no timing cover on a rotary. What you are referring to is the "front cover" which houses the e-shaft bearings, spacers, oil pump, etc.
Make sure that it is not the metering oil pump which is leaking. They can leak fairly often as the o-rings dry out, but front cover gasket leaks aren't as common.
