Angry 1979 rx7 fuel help

i have a 1979 rx7 stock

my fuel pump turn on and work when I'm pumping gas from a bucket in to another but when i hook it up to the car it turn on but no fuel comes out i doubled checked and everything is hooked up right

Check your fuel filter. These often plug up, starving the engine.

If that doesn't solve the problem, the fuel pick up tube inside the tank may be plugged up. Our tanks are old and getting rusty inside, this is much more common than many realize. Pump the tank dry with your fuel pump by dropping a fuel hose in the filler neck long enough to reach the bottom of the tank. Then drop the tank, take it to radiator shop that boils out fuel tanks and have the inside resealed.

You may need to rod out the supply tube brazed in the tank as they can be packed full of rust.

Thank you I will try this but it will have to wait till summer because there lots of snow now

And the fuel filter is new
