So i have a 88 vert with the NA 13b 64 it ran perfect and i decided to put a header on it and emissions delete and put the header on with the o2 on it and i removed the EGR and air pump and made block off plates and i took out and cleaned the 5th and 6th port sleeves but it back together and it has idle surge and it bucks and hesitates a lot when getting the car moving but it only does it sometimes what could this be need help

and will it run to lean with the header and stock ejectors

You could have a vacuum leak. Make sure the TPS is set correctly(G/R wire reads 1 volt w/key to on after the car has been fully warmed up-20 minute spirited drive should do)

 

I fixed the problem for those who are having these symptoms it turns out that my TPS plug the connectors on it were dirty and was not getting connection so i cleaned it and the car runs great
