Have a Mazda 13B engine that is cutting out at 50-60% power. It's on a hovercraft, but set up just like in a car. What could be causing that?

set up just like in a car? so your running ALL the OEM mazda fuel injected parts? I'd find that hard to believe, we need MORE INFO to help. Hows the engine is built, what 13b it is, how your fueling it etc.

Actually the stock OEM 130hp engine from what I understand... which admittedly is limited right now. Will have to get more details for you on which 13B it is... but is an early 1990's engine that was put on the craft from factory.
It's an American Hovercraft HA5 that is no longer made, and the company is in the wind.
