Hey there, I got a dirt cheap 81, and the engine was in the trunk with the oil pan and front cover taken off. I took some pictures of most of the car and parts. If someone could help me out, that would be great, thanks.

 

no matter what your gonna want to tear it down to see what the internals are like

and its only worth using depending on what YOU want to use it for

 

yep, cant really condemn an engine for just having a little rust that can be cleaned up. won't know unless you rip it apart.

 

If I tear it down, and it's still good, can I use a gasket kit such as the one from atkins?

Also, teardown and inspect first, then order parts
