I have a 10:15 Saturday time. I am driving up in my grey GSLSE with very badly peeling clearcoat paint.

 

I should be rolling up in my friends new orange Lotus Elise that he picked up yesterday. I can't wait to drive it. I think I'm more excited about that than Zoom-Zoom! I'm in the market for a Mazda 3 5door as a daily beater, so I hope they have one I can flog on the auto-x course to see what it will do. The salesman got pissed at the local dealer when I found out that I could heel-toe the stock pedals in the 3 on the test drive

They are very cool. When I was instructing at the MDA event at Summit Point Labor Day weekend (when I saw your car, but could never meet up with you) one of my students had an Elise. I don't think I have ever been as impressed with a car as I was that one. Going down the long straight at Shenandoh, he pulled and passed a C5 Z06 Corvette on the straight. The chassis was the stiffest I had ever driven, including my tube frame road race car. It was just awesome all the way around. What I would not give to have some of that feel in my first gen.

 

I'll be there sunday 10:30 I'm pretty new to Rx7's only had my first gen for two weeks now but it won't be there... I'll be in my trail beaten Jeep.. I will be the person who it doesn't seem would fit in a first gen... lol
