Some people may construe that as insult to injury.

I'm suprised no ones chimed in with the "Dibs on the engine!" post.

That wreck is horrible, and I don't mean any disrespect when I ask this question.

Could a roll cage have helped the drivers chances of survival in a situation like that?
I'm not suggesting he should have had one, obviously such a thing is overkill for a street car, but I'm just curious. If anyone has insight.

I'm amazed at how badly destroyed the car is. I'm wondering how much of that is fron the initial impact and how much is from rolling.

And are there updates on the status of the WRX driver? did he survive after being taken to the hospital? Any pictures of his car?

If it was a bolt in cage it would have just sheared the mounting hardware off. A real welded in cage with swing outs would have helped substantially. I'm no physicist so I can't give more then a vague answer.

Here are the pics they had of the WRX. And to think that i used to live there. thats about 3 miles from my Mom's house

WTF? there was a woman killed in a hit-and run 1/2 mile from my PREVIOUS house in rockville yesterday.

on the slightly brighter side. there is unconfirmed report that Bin Ladin is dead from Typhoid. some french report has it but like i said its not confirmed and nobody has any concrete info about it.
