Who's going to JGTC at VIR in October?!?!

Yep, you heard right. JGTC is coming to VIR on October 6-8. And they have a BUNCH of different events going on all around the course simultaneously. See here for more info... http://www.gtlivetour.com/events/attractions.html

There are two 6 hour Grand Am races though, along with all the other shenanigans.

I posted this in the SE forum, but I suppose I should post it here too :-D. For those who didn't notice, MazdaSport magazine is hosting MazdaDays at GT Live (there is also a suburu meet and an evo meet). There is going to be parking on the north paddock for Mazda cars next to the MazdaSport booth (limited space on a first come first serve kind of deal but we think there will be enough space for anyone who want's to park down there). There is also going to be a Mazda drivers karting session on sunday. An update on the speedsource rx8 sim race, they have pulled out as they do not have a car to use for it. Organizers are working on getting them to use another one but no luck yet. Keep your fingers crossed.

Damn, I would run the Track Attack but they have some rules that contradict SCCA rules and would make my car illegal.

5pt harness is OK with SCCA they want a 6pt, Fuel Cell without auto fire system is OK. My roll cage extends through the firewall to the front suspension (not allowed!) and they want roadsters to use a window net AND arm restraints(which I use). I have no place to mount a window net to since the windshield comes off!

Oh well, have fun. I'm racing with SCCA at VIR Oct 28-29th anyway.

The Raleigh group is making a mass migration to VIR on Sunday. Who will be there? Some of us will be there on saturday as well (me, jonny, some rx8club members) if anyone wants to get up then.
