white GXL at Pete's in Bel Air?
blue one, right? the one salesguy, Fran, put me on it yesterday to see how it felt...damn that's a comfy bike. i just wish i didn't hate the look of it. why can't someone make a bike that's that comfy, but looks like a Bonneville?
I like the way the sv650s looks and you can buy the fairing kit extra to make it look like a full fairing bike. I'm not so picky about the looks as much as I am about the price and the ride quality. The one I was looking at was maroon.
you didn't originally say you wanted an S.
see, ride quality, looks, and price are all important to me. i'm not looking to be the fastArest out there - i just want a bike that makes me smile when i look at it. the SV is not that bike...neither are any nakeds or sportbikes, and most sport tourers make me cringe as well. the boyfriend's V-Strom is comfy as hell, but i cringe when i look at it.
i just prefer the classic look, i suppose, but i also want something more reliable and quieter than a Harley.

don't bother with Cycle World...they're just out for your wallet. they treated the boyfriend like crap, as well as a few other friends.
i know i'm picky...i tend to be that way when an item costs more than a couple hundred.
