rx8 engines are slow. many revisions have issues as well.

this doesn't answer your original question, just $0.02

Quick answer: no

The Renesis is no where near as good of a motor as the Twin Turbo 3rd gen 13b Wankel; or any generation 13b for that matter. Out of curiosity, why are you even considering this? Even if your 13b is blown this is a horrible idea.

If you are seriously thinking of doing it, research, reconsider, rinse and repeat until you sell your FD.

Call all of the rotary specialists. Check the sticky at the top of the New England thread for contacts. www.RX8Club.com might help.

godshand86..remove all your emissions junk and install that GT35R turbo you got sitting at home, then you will see why the 13B TT is a superior engine

Short answer: http://car-part.com/ I found motors for the 2005 model year ranging from $2000.05 to $3500.00.

Longer answer: Due to technical (engine management) issues, a Renesis motor would be considerably more expensive than a 13B or 13B-REW, based on what I've read here on the forum. See: https://www.rx7club.com/rotary-car-performance-77/renesis-engine-question-887358/
