Not to be a dick and compete with andrew- which is hard since the apexi N1 dual is one of the most bad *** exhaust systems you can get on an FC, but mine isnt too far behind in my opinion and if inexpensive is what your looking for I might have what you need. plus its lighter lol.

Anyone got an aftermarket ecu lying around? I can't find a power fc for the S5 nor do I want to do all the stupid **** to convert the FD one.

last time i checked there were no PowerFCs made for FCs(as odd as that sounds). Only way to get one to work is with the so called stupid crap to convert it. but like i said its been a while. i do know someone who might still have a hks FCON with accessories for a S5.

 

Call KDR about running the power FC on the S5

 

its probably better off and easier to go with a wolf 3d, haltech or other standalone

converting a pfc would probably cost you the same in the end

 

Soooooooo.......off topic...however i gota share considering im never on here. So im cruisin on my way home from work in tha 7 and i see this ridiculous MKIV supra coming towards me. silver, slammed to the ground full body kit rims and what not mint condition. Im thinkin wow thats insane i cream my pants lookin at that and he prob has no clue what im in or even gives a ****. Then as hes gettin closer i see his arm out the sunroof with a thumbs up and hes smiling. we revved our motors as we passed eachother (2 fast 2 furious son!) i drove the rest of the way home with the biggest grin on my face. made my day to see that FC Rx-7s are still recognized and respected- even by guys rockin decked out supras.

Im thinking about looking into microtech lt-10 **** comes with ignition coils and the like. But if you could get a nice price on that FCON thatd be nice I have an S5 turbo II.

ive heard good things about it....from what im to understand its a very robust computer with a very large variety of tuning items as well as different sensor compatibilities

hell even some of the FD guys are using it

I realized I said I had the 6k ones but I actually got the 8k which is a little brighter then the 6k standard hue. Its a blue white beam and has 2 years warranty on them on the bulbs/ballast. The best part about it is they are stationed in the US and very quick responses on emails for any problems. I've had them for 6 months now with no major problems. This is what I experienced so far with them, the passenger side once in a while has trouble turning on so the trick is to leave the lights on for 30 seconds ~ 1 minute and flicker the light on/off they will then turn on. The reason for this is the ballast needs a little time to warm up, other then that they have no problems. Remember you get what you pay for for $60 its a sweet deal IMO cheers!
