I wanted to head out there tonight since it was so nice but I got off work a tad late + I cought one of the worst cases of the flu EVER over the weekend and I'm still messed up...then again, schedule for both wife and I changed a bit, so no matter what I wasnt gonna make it.

Hope it was a good one! Weather was GREAT!!!!!!

We had fun. Not much of a turn out but we chatted it up. Had some random v-dubs show up and an IS-F. I think we need to find a way to link the RX-8 thread and this one together.

Not sure yet. I have to jack it up. There's that plastic that kind blocking my view. Can't tell from looking under the hood either.

did you get the 3 bar map sensor?

You know you need to change the reading values in your ECU right?

It sounded/ran good the last time i saw it.

What did you do it to it recently? Or did it just started to act up?

Maybe you need a tune man.

As it turns out youre right on the money! I was tuning it blindly...sorta! the LC-1 was not reading right(wiring)...I kept leaning it and leaning it untill it just had no fuel. I was conviced this wasnt the case cause the lc-1 said I was still pig rich. Well, I initialized the PFC and got it to run but I was still lean! I spent a few minutes analizing maps and redoing them and wouldnt you know I'M RUNNING STRONG again!!!!!
I'm logging the ride to work tomorrow now that the LC-1/datalogit are on the same page! Just went for a little ride to test it out and its PIG rich at idle but it leans out dramatically as rpms increase...timing seems to be retarded, knock is at bay so I'm not worried.

Provided weather holds I should be there next Tuesday with a higher rev limit!!!!!!!

Nice!!

Yeah man i knew it had something to do with the map. My friends supra was the same thing. It would choke itself at high rpms because the injectors were dumping too much fuel.

Yeah i hope the weather is good for next tuesday, i wanna hear that bad boy again. It sounds soo mean.

I want it to idle a little lower...it calms down a bit. I dont think it'll go lower than 1400 with the port/injectors combo, but I LOVE IT!!!!!! And the sound of that Turbo spooling is louder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You sure your MAP is reading right. You either have the wrong curve on your fuel map or your MAP is reading wrong. It seems that it is not adding enough fuel as the air rises in the engine.

Do you have a AF graph that we could look at? Is it pretty linear or does it bounce around?
