I have a pretty nice ACT clutch. Spent about 1000 on it. I absolutley love it. 25k miles of hard driving, clutch kicks, brake stands, and hard launches and it still catches in the saaame place.

So all in all I had to pay 1400 to replace my bearings in the clutch and to repair the rear main engine seal. I got it back today though and it runs like a champ. I'll be there tommorow.

my 6 puck sprung clutch cost me 130.......talk about crazy money on one thing

and andy, my pedal is very heavy because of the clutch/pressure plate setup i have, plus the clutch was unsprung, which means theres no give, its eather engaged or disengaged

so heavy clutch + grabby as hell= a painful stop and go traffic...at least in the begining

just ask sebastian hahaha

 

Just a heads up watch out for that pull type clutch setup on the FD.

Wow open track day in my FC. Now I realllly gotta get the turbo swap in.

Yea I had tons of problem with all of the local tuners and ended up going to Dave @ KDR and he got the car running had to redo all the wires. If you dont want to drive to PA I know a local guy that has a 20b 3 turbo RX7 with a microtech LTX16 that just open a shop at the ironbound with a dyno PM me if you want the number.

this thread is way more active on 8club... Its easier to post over there then to keep posting back and forth.... but us 7 owners post here every so often to let people know that we still meet up.

most of the people that meet up are the usual's.... so they show up every tuesday reguardless.

yeah the mr2 is my beater haha. 245k on motor and body n still clean and running.

i used to go the meets a while back with my fc. its a blue/black primer 2 tone. havent driven it in like a yr 1/2 due to me always changin my motor for the hell of it. (6 motors haha and all were in good condition except for one with a done oil seal)

 

Steven still goes to the meets with his 8? i thought this guy took his car off insurance or wasnt gonna drive it til i installed his engine mounts
