Trying to get Steve Kan to come and tune!!!!
Ok so I spoke to Dan over at XX Tuning today and asked about someone that can tune my 7. Dan told me that Steve was really the best that there is. I need about 5 people that want to get their cars tuned so that we can set something up so that he can come here. He needs atleast 5 people to be in so that he then can fly here to tune. I would love to get as many people as I can to do this. If you are in please shoot me a PM so that I can get this ball rolling!!!!! Come on guys who is in?????
we actually had a post about this last year, Dan Navarro (i think thats his last name) at XX right? Most of still arent ready/cars are ready so... yeah xD which was the problem last year too xD

I was in there with someone who wanted to get his car tuned and asked dan if he tuned 7's and he said no. Then he mentioned Steve Kan and said if I could get like 5 people together then Steve would fly here to tune. So I figured I would throw a post up to see if anyone was interested.

Ok guys thats great... One more person would be great!!! I will make a call to Dan to get Steves number and then I will give him a call to get the price all figured out. The more people I can get is the more likely that this will get to happen.

Steve Kan is a nice guy and knows his stuff. He is a conservative tuner, and will give you a reliable tune that is still pushing alot of power if you have the mods for alot of power. It should also give you a general idea of what prices are like. He will also party with you guys, he did when he was here in St.Louis.
Check the Midwest section for results of the tuning session that was done recently. Had one member that posts on here hit 504rwhp and Busted7 hit 493rwhp on PUMP GAS!

I will be getting a fuel and timing controller within the next month or two so I would possibly be down for it although my car isn't really gonna need a lot of tuning. So I guess it depends on when you are planning on getting him over here.

PvillKnight if you are not tryin to hate then ummm why are you?? There sure is other guys in the US. I went to a local tuner who told me that he does not tune rotaries so he gave me Steves name and said he would come to XX tuning. Well if there are others in CT Pvill let me know and I will be glad to give them a call. Thanks for the input!!

actually it was $500. and to the OP it was me who started the thread last year and I decided to wait until the spring to set this up but I forgot all about it LoL. My car is getting tuned buy another guy in CT. I recommend him if you don't want to wait for Steve. He just did a low-load/cruise steet tune wednesday and comes back tomarrow to do a full boost tune and then we will hit the dyno at Victor Research. Over all its about $400

Ok well here is the latest.... I cant call him and book him to fly here with people that might be in. I need to know how many people are in for sure so I can call him and let him know. I cant give you a date untill I let him know that it is ready to go. The sooner we get people together the sooner he can come. The tune would take place at xx tuning in East Hartford CT, 06108.
