Transferring Title from PA to NJ

Hey guys I'm picking up a FC in PA tomorrow and bringing it back to NJ. Is there anything different about titling a car originally in PA? All the cars I've ever had were from NJ. I know PA has that notary system for transferring titles, but I don't have to do any of that do I? Thanks for any input
Sean

hmm, just got off the phone with the DMV and they said that the seller must get it notariezed..... I guess it can't hurt to have a notary stamp it.

It's very strange the DMV site says nothing about a notary, but something tells me i need to get it stamped....

Alright, tomorrow after I load the car up I'll make sure to get it notarized then so i don't have to drive 2 hours back out there to get it done later if there is a problem..

Yes, the PA seller will need to get the title notorized with your current address, so make sure you get it to them. You don't have to be there when he gets it notorized, he sign off on it at the notary, then all he needs to do it give it too you.

I know this because I sold a truck to a guy in NY recently and thats what I went through.

Thanks for the info, I ended up calling the NJMVC the day I went out to pick it up and they said the same thing. I went to the DMV last night and everything went smoothly, just gotta wait a few weeks for the actual title to be mailed to me.
Thanks again everyone!
