Trailers for sale or rent

I'm looking for an open auto transport trailer to haul my track car to VIR in June. Prefer to rent for a few days, but will consider purchase if the deal is right. Anyone in the southern PA/northern VA/MD area willing to rent or sell please PM me or email me at go48@earthlink.net. TIA

I have an open trailer that I usually rent out to local guys but I way too far from you. Call Uhaul, the one near me usually rents the open trailers for $50 a day which is a great deal. It's just hard to get them in stock.

Yup, NYC is a bit far.

I rented a U-haul trailer this weekend for an event in WV and it was the biggest POS you could ever imagine. Severely cupped tire, chunks of tread missing, trailer brakes that were very jerky, rusted out rims, jury-rigged wiring, etc. Well anyway, you get the idea as to why I'm looking for other options. Thanks for the reply.

Hey Larry!

Yeah, that U-haul tire was a joke. I was looking into your documentation for your product and it looks very tempting. See you in June!

Hey,

Did you return to SP on Sunday? I decided to stay home and enjoy some of the racing on TV. I'm a fair weather driver it seems.

Took the trailer back a day early and saved a few bucks. The U-haul guy felt so bad about the condition of the trailer he gave me a better rate. Anyway, I'll keep lookin' for another option for June. Looking forward to driving at VIR. See you there.

Thanks for the link. That looks interesting, I'll give them a call or drive up there to see if they rent. The purchase prices are a bit better than some of the other aluminum trailers on the market, but storage would be a hassle, so rentals are the best option for me right now. Also, I can be a little fickle when it comes to hobbies so I don't really want to get stuck with disposing of a trailer if [or is it when? ] I decide to not do track events anymore.
