Tracks in Northern VA?

hey i was just wondering if any1 knew of any tracks and stuff where you dont nessisarily have to have a racing licence to go drive around on, maybe some tracks that host track days a couple times a month or something in or around northern Virginia. and if i was to try and get a licence, what are the steps?

In my little shitsplat town they've opened Shenandoah Speedway, (on the speed channel recently for the Hooters Cup) though i have yet to go cause they havent yet let people race street cars

You could do a track weekend at Summit Point with NASA or some other club. Prices range from $300-$450 for a weekend high performance driving school.

Usually if it's your first time at the track you are required to have an instructor in the car with you.

Try looking at a FATT (Friday's at the Track) event.
