Thurs Aug 18th ATCO Raceway
Myself and one of the guys I work with are going to Atco to make some runs, he has a 1st gen he AutoX’s and will be bringing his mustang ( I know, but he placed 6th in last years grassroots challenge with it) so if the weathers good and you guys feel like making some runs post up so we can meet up.
Since I still need to install the axles and diff I won’t be making any hard passes but it should still be fun.

Jackson rd is the road the race way is on.
Coming from 295 you going to take 73 south (a while), after the Berlin circle you’ll go through 1 light then b4 the next light you’ll see sign for Atco race way (right after VHR rentals) Take the jug handle, and right across 73 is the Shell station I’m talking about. From there the race way is like 2 miles away.

Great to see the few rotors that turned out!
Jim now you see I need some shop time!!!
Traction was the problem of the night, well that what everyone ways saying and I couldn’t get them to grab until third for the most part.
Got 4 runs in,
1st run
13.032 @ 116 w 2.34 60’ 16psi
2nd run
They did have slip and on film it was
13.62 @113 don’t know the 60 but it was horrible
3rd run the Ic hose poped off and I ran a 15sec @ 85 Normaly aspirated ;-)
4th run
13.22 @118.17 w a 2.637 60’ time
I didn’t realize till the 3rd run that my boost was only 16psi, (changed dump tube routing today) got it up to 18 and had even more traction problems
So all and all spinning them through first and second and ending up with 118 through the traps isn’t to bas, shee’s making the power, just cant get it to the ground

LOL, If I had any kind of traction in 1st, 2nd (that I even lifted to try to get it to hook up, or the first second in 3rd I would have run even more mph and a much better ET.
Don’t worry Axles are sitting @ home and I’m ordering the Kaaz and gears today. Then after it gets installed and broken in, tune for 25psi then see what I can do :-)

255 street tires are no match for 18psi. I should have mounted the 275 Toyo's I prob would have had a better day
