Off topic but does anyone know any U pull it junk yards in long island?

 

no offense to my rotary pals but I think a meet piggy backed onto another meet already in place is a better idea.

I hear they do dave and busters where the supra vs rx7 meet was on Fridays, they have bald hill during the week, I am sure there are others.

A seven only meet will get dull real quick and probably fizzle out.

 

Tt could turn into a bigger event if we started something first. but i see what you mean. Is that dave and busters meet the one in islandia? What time?

None. NY is terrible for junk yards in general anyway. They just look up dealership prices and maybe take a few bucks off the price. You can only stick with the community people with these cars.

Last year i took a ride out to some part in long island (actually i was lost) and saw a U pull It but didn't stop. It was not far from some small air plain strip but i don't remember the town or the roads. I need parts for my dodge Dakota, I will never try and attempt to find rx7 parts at any junk yard that would be a lost search.

 

there is a yard in Medford that drives you around and you show them what part you want, then you wait for them to pull it, I wasnt aware of a u-pull though

 

Try mid island auto wreckers 631 369-7998 or 631 586-6599 They are in riverhead but they have a lot of stuff. AFAIK it is not a U-pull it though. I think the reason for this is because of insurance reasons or maybe some NYS law.

Oak Beach off Ocean Parkway every Sunday morning at 8am. Get there early because you will not be able to get into parking lot because it gets packed out...

 

i go there somtimes we usually get there around 10pm goes on till 2am depends to bit of a drive for me tho which is why i go rarely.
