I'd like to meet you and the rest of the folks. I've never hung out with my fellow RX7 brethrens before in the 2 years I have had the car. I feel I have a nice FD....Iput all the work into it the first year I had it and it just sits as a collectors piece now, no one ever sees the damn thing!! I've put 3k miles on it since buying it in March 2003!! I'll pay attention to the thread and hopefully it will happen, and be on a weekend I can make.

Bob, You definatley have a nice car. I remember you sold Charlie his turbos (I don't think you took your car), and you two were talking about your car. From the pics I saw it looks nice. Hopefully you'll make it out

 

Thanks fellas. Still having some turbo complications, feel I should be making more boost earlier, but nothing that takes away from the car. I have marked July 9/10 down and hopefully Rich can make it as well.

I got my car started tonight for the first time in 6 months...felt good, except the DP isn't sealing to the turbo correctly so I'm working on that.

alright it picked up another guy...a friend of mine with a 240sx so we're rolling right along.

I just realized after talking to Steve that July 10th is a sunday, so the real date is JULY 9TH! My mistake, but I don't think it will really affect anyone too much. Steve will be sticking around for rotorfest the next day as well, he will be offering his services that day as well.

If I can get some more deposits sent out then I will feel a little more relaxed, but as of right now I only have one deposit and Steve is set to buy his plane tickets.

i get my car from the bodyshop this thursday..so after thats squared away i should be able to send some funds early part of next week.

 

I am interested too, but can't make a commitment yet. I am installing my R85 right now, and I am still waiting on a few misc. parts. I should be ready by that time, but I won't waste any time unless I actually have a running car. I have swapped engines, and turbo(s) so there are a lot of little things I might need to work out.

sounds like a lot of interest, it's pretty much first come first serve. The more people the better obviously. Steve isn't really the kind of guy to quit working just because it's a certain time though. I'm sure we'll be able to fit everyone in. We'll probably get all the local people out of the way on friday night. Anyway Steve is gonna stick around for rotorfest also so he can tune cars there as well. Ramy, it's Joel not joey haha.
